Craig Kirby

Founder & CEO

From the boardroom to the campaign trail, the university lecture hall to the golf course, Craig Kirby has taken the lead in a multitude of situations that has forged his path as the founder and CEO of the non-profit foundation Golf. My Future. My Game. 


As a golf enthusiast and former political strategist, Craig’s innovative ideas and thought-provoking strategies have galvanized a leadership style that combines “uptown sensibilities with downtown leading.” His unique ability to create and maintain relationships across government and corporate boundaries has enabled him to serve in numerous high-ranking positions within government and create successful issue advocacy and electoral strategies for candidates at all levels.

Through Golf. My Future. My Game. Craig has shifted the paradigm in the world of golf and developed strategic alliances that have allowed hundreds of young people across the country to uncover life lessons, proud traditions, and career development from the challenges they experience perfecting their game of golf. One example is a collaboration with the National Links Trust & the Western Golf Association that affords students to Caddie experiencing an entrepreneurial platform highlighting economic opportunities via exposure to stipend-paying real-world employment to gain technical and soft skills.  


Craig’s work to increase opportunities and mitigate challenges to the popularity, profitability, and sustainability of golf has led to successful partnerships:

ACCOMPLISHMENTS & SUCCESS


 He was recently appointed to the board of directors of the National Links Trust, an organization committed to promoting and protecting the architecture of municipal golf courses throughout the country.


Craig also sits on the board of the Western Golf Association which is the home of the Evans Scholars Foundation and the Golf Industries Commissioners Community Council. 


 He is a member of the PGA of America Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Talent Acquisition Work Group and Co-Chair of the WE ARE GOLF Diversity Task Force where he works to increase workforce diversity and awareness of careers within the golf industry. 


Craig is a recipient of the 2020 Distinguished Alumni award from his alma mater Albion College and a distinguished graduate of Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government Leadership in the 21st Century Executive Program. 


His numerous accomplishments include:


  •  A Certificate of Achievement from the Center for Popular Economics at Amherst College, Special Assistant to the White House Chief of Staff
  •  President of the American Student Association
  • Southern Political Director and Director, Office of the Vice Chairs
  •  Democratic National Committee 
  • President of Men of St. John’s at St. John's College High School (Washington, D.C.)
  •  A contestant on Season 1 of the ABC Networks Holey Moley.
